A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. [Ansel Adams]
If I do say so myself, I think I took some of my most creative images at Josh and Annie's wedding. It must have been the time of year for the creative juices to flow! Everything about their day was full of glamour. Annie looked phenomenal in her dress and all the guys looked very GQ in their black bow ties. Annie had by far the coolest shoes I've ever seen in my many years as a wedding photographer. I had to get a ton of shots of those gems :) The girls got ready at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Minneapolis and then we headed to the ceremony. Although it was a challenging church for a photographer, I always love a good challenge. The lighting was low and intimate - making for some unique images. I LOVE the shot of Annie coming down the aisle with her Father, it's full of emotion. (Be sure to grab your Kleenex)
After the ceremony we headed to Minneapolis City Hall which was the most unique reception venue I have ever seen. The space was glowing with architectural splendor and the table settings were exquisite. Everyone enjoyed dinner and the dance was full of energy with some awesome live music. I'm truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing wedding. Thanks guys and congratulations to both families!
