"Why don't you do the world a favor and pull your lip over your head and swallow!?" - Walter Mathau Did you know the film "Grumpy Old Men" was filmed in Wabasha, MN? Well I didn't either until Paul and Amber's amazing wedding!
We started the day at a small church in Plainview, MN where Amber grew up. The whole bridal party looked amazing! I think the shots of the guys jumping is one of my new favorite "poses" for groomsmen :) The ceremony was great and the pastor had some great words of advice for the couple. My favorite moment was when he described a fictitious argument between Adam & Eve. Adam proclaimed, "Eve, you know you're the only woman on the planet I care about!" The whole congregation broke into laughter.
From the ceremony, Paul and Amber ran through a stream of bubbles from their guests and headed to Wabasha. After driving through a torrential downpour on the way, we arrived safe and dry. Main Street in downtown Wabasha, MN is beautiful. The street is a photographers dream. I loved the vintage aesthetic and charming personality the city evoked. This is where we got some of my favorite shots from the day. Check out Paul and Amber along the red brick wall, so stunning! Finally, everyone head to the reception at Slippery's Bar & Grill! It was an awesome building just off the coast of the Mississippi River. It had amazing views.
Congratulations Paul and Amber!
