Best Friends and One Hell of a Party | Andrew + Tarah's Wedding

A true friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself. - Jim Morrison

This was a difficult wedding to cull. Amidst hundreds of people, I think I knew about 50 or so. Therefore, I had a tough time choosing which images I wanted to feature on the blog. This is the product of those tough decisions.

First off, a huge props to my best friend Dylan. He was my second shooter for this long, 12 hour day and he rocked it! Cheers DY, thanks for everything. Before I go any further however, I must at least touch on the very evident back story. I've known Andrew since I was a little dude running around the basketball court. His family and my family have known each other for decades and I'm so blessed to have captured this special day for the Hardgrove and Wrolson families. When I first met Tarah, I knew she was a keeper for Andrew. Their love radiates and it's so clear that they're made for one another. As a friend, your photographer and your life long ally, congratulations guys!

We had a long day that began at the salon with Tarah and her girls. Her bridesmaids are hilarious and made it fun for Dylan and I throughout the day. After a gorgeous wedding at the infamous St. Peters Catholic Church, we hopped on the most epic limo ride of my career. Some of these images deserve to be blown up on a wall! The energy and intensity is captured in colorful explosions. They're definitely some of the coolest images from the 2012 wedding season! Once we arrived in Downtown Stillwater, we took some fun natural shots with the bridal party. I think the comic book inspired groomsmen portraits are worth publishing.

It wouldn't be a North St. Paul wedding without stopping by Roddy's Bar in downtown NSP. Thankfully, Andrew and Tarah agreed. These images have so much meaning to me since it's my stomping grounds. It was so much fun being in the element and capturing the craziness with a certain creativity. Priceless. All in all, it was a successful day full of laughing, tears and dancing. I hope everyone enjoys the images and cheers to many years of happiness!!

P.S. Be sure to click ‘Vote For This Image’ to choose your favorites! The client who has the image with the most votes by December 31, 2012 will earn a HUGE gift!

Tarah had a special moment with her Father before the ceremony, precious.
