Josh and Annie had an uber fun engagement session!! Annie and I first chatted almost a year ago about her and Josh's wedding. From the first time we spoke, I sensed they had an appreciation for architecture and design. Yep, we connected :) We started at the Walker Art Center and strolled through the sculpture garden - their bright colored outfits were a perfect contrast to the natural backdrops. Then we headed to Uptown to grab some more urban images at Chino Latino's. We lined everything up so we could have the entire place to ourselves! Annie stepped into the really cool shared bathroom and we got some fun "getting ready" shots. I love the geometry of the mirrors contrasting the linear lines of the tile. It was so fun to see the restaurant totally empty since it's ALWAYS packed in that place! The bartender poured Josh and Annie a martini topped with dry ice - I think I took one of the most unique ring shots ever.
We finished our session on the roof of Stella's Fish Cafe overlooking the amazing view of downtown Minneapolis. I have to say, Josh and Annie had one of the most jam packed engagement sessions and it totally paid off! We got such a variety of images that express their vivid passion for one another. Congratulations guys and I can't wait for the wedding!
